This Super Bowl LIV review is just kind of an exercise for me so don’t expect much.
1st Quarter
6:22 – Game time coming up. Who’s my pick? Don’t have one. I watch the game to watch the game.
6:29 – The songs. They were sung.
6:31 – Lego Masters. Network TV shows going with silly and streaming services create drama and comedy shows.
6:33 – Coin toss. SF visitor calls tails. SF wins and defers. KC receives.
6:41 – SF Kickoff. 8 minutes of BS between the coin toss and kickoff. KC 3 and out KC Punt
6:44 – SF Run – run – pass – run – moving the ball well after 1st play run loss. Couple of tricky plays. Continuing to run the ball successfully. Run – run – run – pass – pass – KC penalty – pass – FG attempt good at 8:05.Commercials.
6:56 – SF Kickoff touchback. KC pass – run – pass – pass – run – pass – run – run – pass. So far no big plays but KC just moving the ball. 1 incompletion but making yards. Sack – pass – run. SF Ward runs into Mahomes and Ward is down. Commercials. Walmart one with sci-fi theme was fun. 4th and going for it. 1st and goal. Run – run TD at 0:31. KC 7 SF 3. Commercials.
7:14 – KC Kickoff touchback. SF Pass – End of 1st qtr.
2nd Quarter
Commercials. Pass – Pass hit INT. Commercials.
7:22 – Turnover 1. Turnovers are big here. Pass long wide open. KC pen – SF pen – pass – run – pass – 4th and going run. 1st. Pass – run – pass. 31 yd FG at 9:36. Commercials. Although KC gets 3 a TD on this turnover obviously is bigger.
7:33 – KC kickoff returned to 20. SF Run – run – pass – run – run – LOTS of big gains – pass – pass TD at 5:13. SF 10 KC 10. Big drive. KC couldn’t stop anything.
7:42 – SF Kickoff returned to 20. KC pass – pass – run – pass – run – 2 min warn. Commercials Both teams eating the clock effectively. Run – pass. KC first punt. Touchback. 0:59 left Commercials.
7:54 – SF run – doesn’t look like SF is looking to score here. SF gets the ball to start the 2nd half. Run – timeout KC. Commercials. Stupid timeout. 23 seconds left. Pass – pass/SF Pen off int – run. eat it. Halftime SF could have tried to score at the end of the 1st half.
3rd Quarter
8:24 – Halftime show. 2 polished professionals. Production what it should be.
8:33 – KC kickoff returned to 16. SF Pass – pass – run – commercials – run – pass – pass – run – pass – SF FG 9:30 SF 13 KC 10. Commercials. Some funny ones here.
8:45 – SF kickoff returned to 19. KC Pen off hld. Pass – pass – run – pass – run – sack – pass SF INT 5:36 – Now if SF gets 7 on this possession I say the game is decided. Commercials Take 5 made me laugh.
8:54 – SF pass – run – pass – pass – pass – run SF TD. Impressive drive. SF offence can move the ball. SF 20 KC 10. As I said before that 7 should do it. Commercials.
9:01 – SF kickoff touchback. Pass – run – run – pass – pass – run – End of 3rd qtr.
4th Quarter

My observations on Super Bowl LIV – Just one. The simplest one of all. It ain’t over until the clock runs out.
